Times Travel is a UK-based, IATA-certified travel and tourism company operating across
multiple locations in Pakistan, including Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi, as well as offices in
the United Kingdom. We specialize in domestic & international air travel, holiday packages,
and global ticketing services. The company is known for its strong service standards,
professional environment, and dedication to delivering exceptional travel solutions. We are
now expanding our ticketing team across all branches.
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing
daily accounting operations, preparing reports, handling vendor/customer ledgers, and
supporting month-end financial closings. The role requires understanding of accounting
standards, travel-industry billing, and coordination with internal teams and UK finance
department.
The candidate must ensure proper documentation, compliance, and financial transparency
while managing routine tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, reconciliation, and record
maintenance.

Specific Skills
• Strong accounting & bookkeeping knowledge • Proficiency in MS Excel & accounting software (QuickBooks/Tally/ERP preferred) • Understanding of taxation, invoicing, and reconciliation • Knowledge of travel industry accounting (BSP, refunds, fares) is a plus • Strong mathematical and analytical skills • Accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail • Ability to manage workload and meet reporting deadlines • Good communication skills & ability to coordinate across departments • Professional, ethical, and organized work approach
Responsible For
• Manage daily bookkeeping, journal entries, and accounting records • Prepare and maintain customer, supplier, and airline ledgers • Generate invoices, receipts, and financial documents accurately • Bank reconciliation • Cash reconciliation • Online payment gateway reconciliation • Airline BSP/portal reconciliations (if applicable) • Maintain accounts payable & receivable • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up when required • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings • Prepare financial reports for management and UK office • Track office expenses and ensure proper documentation • Support payroll entries and compliance-related tasks • Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and finance managers • Ensure adherence to accounting principles & company policies
